David & Margaret Curtain

David and Margaret Curtain and 5 children live near Gympie, Queensland, Australia where we farm a beef cattle grazing property of 200 acres.  We also lived in Papua New Guinea for many years and were associated with an earthmoving business.

Margaret travelled extensively through New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe & USA prior to marriage in 1971.  Together we have seen various parts of Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, Hawaii, and Beijing & Hong Kong in China.  Margaret spent a month in Ireland in 1991 and again in October 1999 doing family research.  During
July 1999, she was a guest speaker at the first Curtin Clan Assn Gathering in Boston, Massachuetts, USA.
 

 The Curtain children are Timothy, Rosemary, Heather, Nicholas and Elizabeth.
 
 

Since 1980 Margaret has made a genealogy study of the names CURTIN/CURTAIN and GUINEY/GUINEA, and has included many inter-marrying families to the work. She is presently the official Curtin Clan Genealogist for the surname Curtain/Curtin. She will help others with finding their ancestors from files and accumulated information on Curtin families worldwide on a reciprocal basis.
